UCAI ’20: Workshop on User-Centered Artificial Intelligence
Magdeburg, Germany, 9th September 2020
The first Workshop on User-Centered Artificial Intelligence (UCAI ’20) was held in conjunction with the 2020 Mensch und Computer conference on September 9th, 2020. The organization committee of the main conference decided to turn the entire conference into an all-digital conference due to the COVID-19 situation. Nevertheless, we were able to put together a great program, featuring a keynote by Andreas Holzinger as well as two interesting paper sessions.
The workshop aimed at sharing and discussing recent developments at the intersection of HCI and AI, and at exploring novel methodological, technical, and interaction approaches. Researchers with diverse disciplinary backgrounds contributed to advancing the research agenda in this emerging field of research.
The workshop was jointly organized by two working groups of the GI Section on Human-Computer Interaction, the recently founded SIG Nutzerzentrierte Künstliche Intelligenz (NKI) and the SIG Adaptivität und Benutzermodellierung in interaktiven Softwaresystemen (ABIS).
