UCAI ’21: Workshop on User-Centered Artificial Intelligence
Ingolstadt, Germany, 5th September 2021
The second Workshop on User-Centered Artificial Intelligence (UCAI ’21) was held online on Sunday, 5th September, in conjunction with the 2021 Mensch und Computer conference. We were able to put together an exciting program, including two paper sessions, a keynote by Werner Geyer from IBM Research on “Human-Centered AI — Automation versus Collaboration”, interactive poster sessions and a social gathering after the SIG meeting!
The workshop aimed at sharing and discussing recent developments at the intersection of HCI and AI, and at exploring novel methodological, technical, and interaction approaches. Researchers with diverse disciplinary backgrounds contributed to advancing the research agenda in this emerging field of research.
The workshop was jointly organized by two working groups of the GI Section on Human-Computer Interaction, the SIG Nutzerzentrierte Künstliche Intelligenz (NKI) and the SIG Adaptivität und Benutzermodellierung in interaktiven Softwaresystemen (ABIS).
